At St Therese Catholic Primary School Sadleir, we believe that leadership is integral to life long learning. Also that all students of primary school need to be given the opportunity to demonstrate and develop leadership skills. Leadership is demonstrated through the actions of people, and can be demonstrated without the need of a title.
There are many leadership positions made available to students with a particular interest in developing their skills more formally, however all students are provided with the opportunity to learn about leadership. Positive student leadership opportunities and experiences will facilitate the transition to high school and the world beyond. Student leadership is driven by our school mission to Live the Gospel, Learn for Life and Meet the Challenge.
Our Year 6 leadership roles consist of:
- School Captains (2)
- School Prefects (6-8)
- Sports Captains
- RE Leaders, Sacred Heart Leaders, ICT Leaders, Library Monitors
